History
New Braunfels Electric was named in early 2008 by owner Richard Owen, but the foundation of this company lies deeper. In 1983 Richard began working in the electrical field at WR Electric in Seguin, TX. As he gained experience working in the industry he looked for local opportunities to advance professionally. In 1987 that opportunity arose with Industrial Electric. Here Richard was able to grow as an electrician, working his way up from Apprentice to Shop Foreman. After more than 10 years with Industrial, Richard founded BOE Electric in 1998 with a three electrician crew. Over the years BOE flourished and proceeded to grow into a company with over 35 people working under Richard. After moving to New Braunfels in 2007, Richard began to slim down his staff leaving only the best and brightest while creating a close-knit, family based business simultaneously. With the new year and location came a new name and in 2008 Richard re-founded his company as New Braunfels Electric.
